I was expecting a lot more from this book - I enjoyed the storyline around the Sicari's and hunting for ancient artifacts etc, but I thought there was going to be a lot more action. There were a few moments, but most of the long book dragged on about the development of the main character's relationship in a too short space of time. So in the space of a couple of days spent together pretty much, they are in love and then they never get to search for the artifact that they are looking for - its left to the next book.
Overall a disappointment and I didnt like some of the antiquated traditions of the Sicari that were still in practice.
I don't think I will bother reading the next in the series.
