If you liked the first one, you will like this one. Full of humour and action.
Everything moves along a bit from when we left off in the first book of the series. I would really have liked to see more interaction with Charley and Garrett, and Charley and Reyes though.
I kind of feel like I would prefer Charley to end up with Garrett, but I doubt that's the plan...
I do really quite like Charley actually, she is one of my favourite heroines of PNR/urban fantasy.
I think one of the things I like most about this series is that it is a cross between PNR and UF, as it has elements of romance and relationships without being overly focussed on this and gushing like PNR sometimes is, but at the same time has the more interesting storyline of UF.
